Exploring Earth's landscapes through SAR and Optical Remote Sensing.
My name is Shubham Singh, currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University, MA, USA.
Previously, I was a Geospatial Analyst at GalaxEye Space in Bengaluru, India. I earned my PhD in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, India.
I specialize in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Optical Remote Sensing—technologies that reveal Earth's secrets even through clouds and darkness. From mapping deforestation to assessing disaster damage, my work transforms raw satellite data into actionable insights, making our world more transparent and informed.
Using radar technology to capture detailed Earth images, day or night, in any weather.
Capturing vibrant, high-resolution images of Earth's surface using sunlight reflections.
Tracking environmental changes like deforestation, glacier melting, and more.
Rapid assessment of damage caused by floods, earthquakes, and other disasters.
